Big questions. Growing faith. A place to belong.

Helping the next generation find Jesus and follow Jesus.

Growing up is an adventure. It's full of discoveries, friendships, challenges, and questions. We believe faith should be part of that adventure, not something separate from it. At Brockport Free Methodist Church, we want every child and teenager to discover how deeply they're loved by God, find a community where they belong, and grow into a life of following Jesus. From a baby's first experience of being welcomed and cared for to a teenager discovering their purpose in the world, we're here to walk alongside families every step of the way.

There's a place for every age.

Wonder Zone

Birth–Age 2 | Experiencing God's love

Faith begins with love. In Wonder Zone, our youngest children experience the warmth of a caring church community through gentle attention, play, prayer, and simple Bible stories. Before little ones can understand the words "God loves you," we want them to experience that love through the people who care for them.

Explorer Zone

Ages 2–3 | Discovering a wonderful world

Toddlers are curious about everything! Explorer Zone embraces that curiosity through stories, songs, play, and simple introductions to faith. As children explore the world around them, they begin discovering some wonderful truths: God made me. God loves me. I can talk to God.

Discovery Zone

Pre-K–Kindergarten | Discovering the story of God

Every day brings something new to discover. In Discovery Zone, children begin connecting the stories of Scripture to their own lives. Through age-appropriate Bible teaching, conversation, and prayer, children discover who God is, why Jesus matters, and what it means to belong to God's family.

Adventurer Zone

Grades 1–5 | Faith is an adventure worth taking

Elementary school is a time of growing independence, friendships, and big questions. Adventure Zone helps children move beyond hearing Bible stories to understanding what those stories mean for their lives. Children learn to explore Scripture, pray personally, make wise choices, care for others, and discover the joy of following Jesus. We want them to see that faith isn't just something we talk about on Sundays. It's an adventure that shapes every day.

Quest

Grades 6–7 | Making faith your own

Middle school is full of questions. Who am I? Where do I belong? What do I really believe? We believe those questions deserve thoughtful, honest conversations. Quest creates space for students to explore their identity, build meaningful friendships, wrestle with difficult questions, and begin taking ownership of their faith. Questions aren't obstacles to faith. They can be part of how faith grows.

Rise

Grades 8–12 | A faith that makes a difference

High school students are beginning to imagine who they will become and what kind of difference they want to make in the world. Rise encourages students to develop a mature, personal faith that shapes their relationships, decisions, and sense of purpose. Through Scripture, prayer, community, and opportunities to serve, students are challenged to discover their gifts, live out their convictions, and recognize that God has a purpose for their lives. We don't just want students to graduate from youth group. We want them to enter adulthood ready to follow Jesus wherever life takes them.

Parents, we're in this together.

You don't have to figure it all out on your own.

Raising children is wonderful, exhausting, joyful, and sometimes overwhelming. We know there are no perfect parents and no perfect families. We also believe that faith is nurtured most deeply when families and the church walk together. Our role isn't to replace the conversations happening around your dinner table or on the drive home from school. It's to support them. We want to encourage you, equip you, and help your children discover a faith that can grow through every season of life. Whether your family is new to church, returning after some time away, or has been following Jesus for generations, we're glad you're here.

What to expect on your first Sunday

New places can feel intimidating. We want your family to feel at home.

When you arrive, our team can help you find the right ministry for your child, answer your questions, and explain what to expect.
We want children to feel welcomed and cared for, and parents to feel comfortable getting to know our church.
Not sure whether your child is ready to participate? Have questions about a particular age group? We'd love to talk with you before you visit.

Sunday Worship | 9:30 AM

More than a Sunday morning.

We believe children and teenagers aren't just the future of the church. They're an important part of the church today.

They have gifts to share, questions worth hearing, friendships to build, and opportunities to make a difference.

As a Free Methodist church, we believe God's grace invites people of every age into a growing relationship with Jesus. We want children and students to discover that following him means loving God, loving their neighbors, and participating in God's work of renewing the world.

That's the kind of faith we hope to nurture: rooted in Jesus, strengthened by community, and expressed through lives of love and service.

Come discover a place to belong, a community to grow with, and a life of following Jesus.
